DASH Project Inc. Star Skater Sydney Terpening Qualifies for FISU World University Games in Lake Placid

Milwaukee, WI - The DASH Project Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to Developing Athletes for Speedskating High-performance, is thrilled to announce that Sydney Terpening, one of our elite team members, has qualified to represent Team USA at the upcoming FISU World University Games Winter in Lake Placid, New York, from January 15-20, 2023.

A talented long track speedskater, Sydney Terpening has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill in the sport. The FISU World University Games will be a homecoming of sorts for Sydney, as Lake Placid was the long track rink she trained at growing up. We are confident that her roots in the area will provide her with the extra motivation to excel at this prestigious international event.

The FISU World University Games, held every two years, gathers the best student-athletes from around the world to compete in various winter sports disciplines. This year, the games will take place in Lake Placid, a location with a rich history in winter sports and a special connection to many athletes.
