The DASH Project Inc. Supports Leah Lambert's Speed Rally 2023, Encouraging Youth to Experience Speedskating

Milwaukee, WI - The DASH Project Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to developing athletes for speedskating high-performance, is proud to support the successful Speed Rally 2023 event, organized by Leah Lambert as part of her capstone project for the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP). The event, held at the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, provided an opportunity for dozens of children to experience the thrill of speedskating and potentially spark a lifelong passion for the sport.

Leah Lambert, an accomplished coach and 2023 ICECP graduate, is the only Winter Olympic Sport representative in this global cohort. The ICECP is coordinated by the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, and the University of Delaware. Her impressive professional background includes:

  • 2023 IOC/USOPC International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program Graduate

  • 5x US Speedskating Junior World Team Coach

  • Junior Elite Coach for Midway Speedskating Club

  • 15 Years Coaching for DC Hybrid Skating

  • Level 3 USS Coach

Leah holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics & Motor Development, and minors in Sports Management & Coaching.

The Speed Rally 2023 event saw support from the Pettit National Ice Center, the Stolz family, and the U.S. Speedskating National Team, as well as local media coverage from TMJ4's Lance Allan and Carole Meekins' Positively Milwaukee. The DASH Project Inc. is excited to have been a part of this effort to grow speedskating and inspire the next generation of athletes.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Leah Lambert on her incredible capstone project and her ongoing commitment to speedskating development. Who knows - one of the participants from this speed rally may just end up in the Hall of Fame someday!
